ODSONNE EDOUARD’s move to Crystal Palace was the least popular move of the summer, according to a new poll.
The French forward finally ended his four-year stint at Celtic last month.
He completed his stint at the English Premier League side on the transfer deadline day in a £ 15.5million deal.
However, in transfers involving England’s top clubs during the summer, Edward’s turned out to be the least popular among supporters.
They based their results on the number of positive reactions to the transfer announcements on Facebook.
Marcus Bettinelli’s move from Fulham to Chelsea came out on top with 99.6% of 96,900 positive reactions.
While Fikayo Tomori’s transfer from Chelsea to AC Milan came in second with 95 percent from 56,400.
Positive reactions from Arsenal new boy Albert Sambi Lokonga amounted to 94.4% of the 76,300 in total.
The likes of Liverpool’s only summer signing Ibrahima Konate, Scotland star Billy Gilmour and Manchester City’s Jack Grealish are also in attendance.
But to a big surprise, Cristiano Ronaldo’s big comeback to Manchester United only puts him in 22nd place on the list.
Only 77.4% of the 592,000 reactions to the announcement of his transfer to Facebook.

Palace is currently in 14th place in the Premier League table with two points so far.
And if that wasn’t enough, Patrick Vieira will be worried that his side have only managed to score two goals in three games so far.
He is now hoping Edward can make an instant impact at Selhurst Park by finding the net consistently.
The Frenchman already has three goals to his name this season and has scored 88 goals in 179 total appearances for Celtic.
