The National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) funded a new oceanfront heritage trail spanning more than five miles of beautiful coastline from Jaywick Sands to Holland Haven and incorporating downtown Clacton, to celebrate this milestone. Interactive technology brings history to life in a fun and engaging way to convey Clacton’s story and the city’s heritage.

A special Clacton 150 flying show will adorn the skies along the Clacton Waterfront on August 26-27, presented by the team behind Clacton Airshow. The exhibit will feature the famous RAF Red Arrows and the very historic Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, two of the most popular Clacton Airshow flights and a must-see spectacle.

To mark Clacton’s birthday, Clacton Pavilion and Clacton Pier have installed observation wheels. These two new waterfront attractions are a welcome addition to the waterfront offering panoramic views of the coastline.
