According to 90 mins, there appears to be some sort of civil war going on at Crystal Palace when it comes to the search for Roy Hodgson’s replacement.

The report says Steve Parish is keen to hire Sean Dyche as the 73-year-old successor at Selhurst Park.

However, Crystal Palace co-owners Josh Harris and David Blitzer would prefer to name Steve Cooper.

Harris and Blitzer believe the Swansea boss ticks a lot of boxes when it comes to what Crystal Palace is looking for.

Despite this, Parish still thinks Dyche is the best option for the Eagles.

He admires the 49-year-old Burnley boss for over a year, and Dyche was even in line for the job in 2020 before Hodgson decided to stay.

Cooper is currently trying to navigate Swansea through the Championship play-offs.

If he does, we’ll assume South Londoners will have a hard time attracting him.

90 mins add that Dyche is keen to prove himself away from Turf Moor, and Crystal Palace is not scared of the compensation fees they might have to pay.

There are certainly options to replace Hodgson.

However, the first thing Parish, Harris, and Blitzer need to do is get on the same page or it will be even more difficult to find a replacement.
