Rainy skies will darken over the coast today as the weather bureau predicts a 50% chance of downpours.

Temperatures will remain below 30C with Maroochydore, Noosa Heads and Caloundra topping the list at 28C, followed by Nambour with 27C and Maleny with 25C.

Winds are southeast 15 to 25 km / h, becoming light in the evening.

There remains a 50% chance of showers on Saturday and Sunday.

Tides up to 2 m high are expected Friday at 8:39 a.m. and high tides of 1.43 m at 8:44 p.m.

Road works remain on Sippy Downs Drive in Sippy Downs, Mons Rd in Forest Glen and Peachester Rd, Peachester – expect delays.
